Great opportunity for Trade Assistants- Our client, Australia's largest and most successful vehicle body builder, is seeking to appoint experienced Trade Assistants. Based in Dandenong, they offer a great team environment, day and afternoon shifts and competitive hourly rates starting from $40- $46ph

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricating specialised truck bodies & attachments including cutting, shaping, and assembling panels of various materials
• Performing plastic repairs, panel, and paint repairs
• Following safety guidelines and procedures
• Using hand and air tools
• Assembling automotive parts within scheduled timeframes
• Maintaining general housekeeping and safety standards

Experience required

• Previous experience in fabrication, assembly, and related duties
• Mechanical assembly experience
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
• A solid understanding of quality control, safe work practices, manual handling, and workplace procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
  
  
  Applicants with previous experience in chassis/construction, fabrication, coach and bodybuilding, and sheet metal work will be highly advantageous
