Roller Operator / Civil Laborer

Operation of 16 ton padfoot roller and a 18 ton smooth drum roller
Operation of a watercart (HR Truck Licence as it will go off road)
Operation of a Moxy (Ticket)
Operation of a Track dumper (No ticket required)
General civil labouring duties including:
Grade checking-measuring using string line and laser levels, spirit levels
Erecting and dismantling temporary fencing, barrier fencing and silt fencing 
Spotting trucks and plant
Using two-way radios
Working around live traffic and earthmoving machinery
Working around water
Manual physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, pushing and pulling
 

PPE Requirements
Long sleeved hi-vis shirt
Long work pants
Steel Capped Boots
Hard Hat
Safety Glasses
Safety Gloves
Hearing Protection

Induction Process
 

All new staff will need to complete an online Hall Contractors Induction - take 45 minutes to an hour.
Online induction will need to be completed by the employee before starting on the job site.
Online induction will includes corporate induction, project induction, adding personal details, uploading relevant tickets and licences.

Once the candidate starts on site, they will have another onsite induction where they will also read and sign off on site SWMS.

Qualifications / Tickets - Roller RII or Ticket / Construction white card 

General hours of work is Monday to Friday 6.30am to 4pm.
Saturday as required
