Maintenance Fitter 

Our client is in search for  Maintenance Fitters to join their team, operating across day, afternoon, and night shifts within the FMCG industry. As a Maintenance Fitter, your responsibilities will involve servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the equipment and production machinery of the manufacturing plant. Working in a confectionery manufacturing environment where hygiene and standards are of the utmost priority alongside safety. 

Location: Ingleburn 
Shifts Available
- 1 x Day Shift: 6 am to 2 pm
- 1 x Afternoon Shift: 2 pm to 10 am (+15% loading)
- 1 x Night Shift: 10 pm to 6am (+30% loading)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide reactive and preventative mechanical maintenance and service to all plant and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and provide hands-on solutions for repairs and modifications.
- Schedule planned maintenance in coordination with the Maintenance Manager.
- Conduct safety checks and inspections.
- Assemble and commission mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Oversee maintenance of various systems including electrical, mechanical, steam, pneumatic, and electronic.
- Ensure facilities maintenance, including boilers, compressors, and cooling towers, is up to standard.

Requirements:
- Trade qualification in Mechanical fitting.
- Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of quality assurance systems and food safety standards.
- Prior experience within a food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.

All candidates must successfully pass a Drug and Alcohol test and Medical examination check. Additionally, successful applicants will be required to provide two recent working references and proof of Australian Work Rights.
