Roller Operator / Civil Labourer

Opportunity Available:     

We're excited to offer a substantial long-term opportunity for a  Civil Labourer to work with a reputable civil company. 

This is a casual role, with full-time hours on offer, plus weekly opportunity to work overtime, all overtime is paid at penalty rates.

This role, located in Beaudesert, presents genuine prospects for upskilling, including the attainment of additional tickets and plant certifications.

You will be responsible for:

• Traffic Control Duties: Managing traffic flow safely around work areas

• Fencing: Erecting, dismantling, and maintaining temporary fencing, barrier fencing, and silt fencing.

• Demobilization: Safely dismantling compounds and cleaning up the site.

• Equipment Operation: Using various site equipment such as star picket drivers, sledgehammers, jackhammers, pumps, and hand/power tools.

• Site Clean-Up: Daily maintenance and general site cleaning, including the site office.

• Tipper Operation: Operating small tippers for transportation purposes (no tickets required for this)

• Manual physical tasks as required including lifting and bending

Duties will include:

• Grade checking - using lasers and string line
• Spotting trucks and working safely around Plant Machinery
• Manual physical labouring on civil works
• Traffic control duties

To be considered for the role you must: 

• Be available for an immediate start
• Hold a Construction Safety Card
• Have relevant tickets for Roller operations
• Traffic Control Ticket (Level 1 or Level 1&2) would be advantageous
• Hold a current Driver’s License
• Own a RELIABLE Vehicle
• Past proven experience in a similar role
