Day shift - 7am to 3pm Mon – Fri (Flexible start times)

Our Client is a leading manufacturer of Electric Motors based in Western Sydney.  They are currently seeking a competent Supervisor to manage day to day production requirements and people management. The position is initially offered on a temporary basis but the right candidate will have the opportunity to go permanent.

Reporting to the Technical and Product Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing day to day people management of upto 10 people
• Reporting and daily catch ups with the team
• Training and mentoring new staff
• Be a problem solver and address any issues within the workshop
• Perform periodic quality and safety checks

To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous supervisory experience 2 years minimum
• Experience with electric motors is desiable not mandatory
• Computer literate and savvy
• Team player with good verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow written standard operating procedures
• Have a great work ethic with reliability and commitment
